Purpose of the Brochure:
To strengthen knowledge and foster a responsible attitude toward biosafety and biosecurity. The document aims to enhance understanding of biological risks, promote the proper application of standards for the handling and transport of biological samples, and encourage compliance with international conventions against the misuse of biological materials.

We invite you to participate in the national scientific conference with international participation “One Health Approach for Global Health Security”, the 3rd edition, organized by the National Agency for Public Health, in partnership with the Moldovan Association for Biosafety and Biosecurity and the “Nicolae Testemitanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova.

The session topics cover:

• Antimicrobial Resistance: Impact, Challenges and Prospects

• The Public Health Burden of Communicable Diseases

• Climate Change –  A Global Health Threat

• Healthy Ecosystems – Healthy People

• Occupational  Health: Challenges and Prevention Strategies

Workshop topics:

• Multisectoral approach to the prevention and control of zoonotic and food-borne and water-borne diseases

• Good practices on effective strategies for the rational use of antibiotics in healthcare institutions. Monitoring mechanisms, success indicators

• Strategies in environmental and occupational health

• National Workshop on the Implementation of the Biological Weapons Convention in the Republic of Moldova

• Development and implementation of action plans for the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases through the “One Health” approach.

The scientific conference is addressed to the academic environment, governmental authorities, doctors, residents, medical students and all specialists interested in the topics discussed.

The event will take place on November 20-21, 2025, at the National Agency for Public Health, Chisinau, 67A Gheorghe Asachi Street

Until 31.09.2025 – Registration for the Conference program, by completing  this  form

By 31.08.2025 – Submission of articles for publication, according to summarized application requirements
